Green and Yellow Eyeshadow

Hey dolls, sorry I havent been on here as much as I had said I would but I have been on call for jury duty (yuck) this week and just a bunch of other  things so lets just get to this look.

 

Some people think that doing two bold colors such as yellow and green would come out heavy but if you chose the right shades of the colors you can definitely pull it off.

 So heres what I did, as usual did the face, eyebrows, primed the lids. I also used milk jumbo pencil to make the colors pop a bit more. I used my bh cosmetics 120 palette first edition and used a pastel green and mixed it with a neon green and placed on outer half of my lid creating a medium green (kind of like grass) and then a gold toned, burnt yellow and placed on the other half of my lid.

 

Next I used a typical medium brown to blend in the crease and then did a gel liner. The gel liner is a bit on the dramatic side but I kept it thin so it didnt take all the attention away from the eyeshadows.

Bold eyeliner

Hi dolls so here I have another quick look for you!

the camera makes my skin look a lot more yellow then it really is but here I have a coral shadow with some ligh yellow and nude shadow on lid. I paired this with a bold liquid liner on top and bottom and smoked out on bottom with some black shadow. Topped with some as usual great last mascara! Eyeshadows are from BH Cosmetics 120 original palette first edition. Liquid liner is Physicians Formula.

I just finished doing my final for my summer school so thats why this is a quick post because I need to finish a final project as well! Have a good one dolls and hope you like! Please let me know what kinds of looks youd like me to do. I would love for you guys to give me some ideas.

Crush Cosmetics

Hey dolls so today I have some more mineral Cosmetics for you and it is Crush Cosmetics! BTW it was so hard to chose the shadows because they are tons of beauties.

I have the eyeshadows Covet, Bombshell, and Moxie shown below  

Then I also have Mermaid, Rapture, and Sirens.

 

This here is Mermaids which is a teal glitter and its so beautiful

They also sent me Lip Scrub Brown Sugar.

Here is the first look in which I used Covet and a dark brown shadow just for a smokey eye.  I primed my eyes with UD (urban decay) primer potion and just used a shadow brush to place covet on my lid 3/4 of the way and used a patting motion. Since the shadows are loose minerals, you have to pat off the brush so that you do not have a lot of fallout.

 

 

The color pay out is amazing and the shadows are really great quality. 

 Covet has beautiful gold shimmer in it and is just such a beautiful gold shadow.

 

Next is Rapture which is a bright purple eyeshadow. It is such a beautiful color and looks like it has a blue undertone.

I used this one alone over Primer Potion and again, great color payout. I also did a winged eyeliner and this was such a pretty color

 

 

Next I have Bombshell and Moxie. Bombshell is a pink champagne color and moxie is a auburn color and again both beautiful. Look at how easy these shadows are easy to apply and last so long! I did a bit of a smokey eye with it and these two colors are great together and alone.

Next I have siren which is just incredibly beautiful cobalt blue base with tiny light blue shimmer.

I used this color alone over primer potion and the brightness of this shadow is so intense I just love it.

Again I did a winged eyeliner with it and looked great. I didnt blend the shadows too much because I wanted to show what the shadows look like with as few swipes as possible.

And guess what? I used Mermaid glitter on my lid and this look was sooo pretty and sparkly. They were totally made for eachother, however you can totally use these alone!

 

 

 

Last they sent me a Brown sugar Lip scrub and it smells incredibly delicious!

I love it and I seriously use before I put on any lipstick or stain. What I do is i apply this on my lips, rub it around for about 10 seconds and then wipe dry. I then use a lip primer to prime my lips and then follow with my lipstick or lipstain.

I didnt realize till I took this photo that my lipstain stained it lol.

you can see here the little sugar cubes on my lips and ahh it was so hard to resist eating it because it smelled like vanilla frosting and it has a rough texture but it has sugar, what can you expect. A little beauty tip: I use this on top of scars to reduce the visibility of it, it really does work!
